Volunteer dispatch, coordinated in real time
Get the right volunteer to the right place — without exposing anyone’s identity.
Rallypnt matches skilled volunteers to station needs and help requests as they happen, over a single real-time stream. Names and addresses stay encrypted in the vault; the board only ever shows tokens like V-047.
- AES-256 vault
- Server-sent events, not WebSocket
- Skill-based matching
- Web + mobile consoles
How it works
01
Admins set up the event
Define the stations volunteers deploy to and the skills the event will draw on. Publish a QR join link for a public event, or send role-scoped invitations for a private one.
02
Volunteers check in
Each volunteer declares their skills, sets location consent, and waits in the pool with a display token like V-047 — no name, anywhere.
03
Coordinators dispatch
Raise a station need or a help request. The engine offers it to matching volunteers with a buffer in reserve, and every status change streams back live.
Built for the way an event actually runs
Real-time by SSE
One server-to-client stream feeds the volunteer app, the coordinator web console, and coordinator mobile. Server-sent events — no WebSocket connection state to babysit.
Privacy by architecture
Identities and addresses are encrypted at rest in the vault. The UI never shows a name; two-phase reveal hands a volunteer the exact address only after they accept.
Skill-based matching
Needs list mandatory and preferred skills. The engine ranks the available pool and keeps a buffer so a decline doesn't stall the assignment.
Pool exhaustion & recall
When nobody matches, the need stays open and re-runs itself as volunteers free up. Departing volunteers get a 120-second “can you stay?” prompt.
Help requests
Transport, grocery, medical, accessibility, or other. Coordinator-approved or auto-assigned; the volunteer goes in-transit and the map tracks them until checkout.
Public or invite-only
Share a QR join link so anyone can volunteer, or keep it closed with invitations that fix each recipient's role before they accept.
The platform never displays names
Not on the coordinator board, not in the admin portal, not in the mobile app. Display tokens are the only volunteer identifier the system shows. Real-world identification happens in person, at the station — Rallypnt handles the dispatch logistics and keeps PII sealed in the vault.
